Oversized Bedroom Staging

This modern home in West Nashville was a fun one to stage, but not without it’s challenges. The oversized primary suite was definitely a huge selling point of the home, but proved to be a bit tricky when it came to staging. With large spaces like this one that require multiple little setups within the room, it can be hard to figure out the best flow for the space. We played around with a few layout ideas on SketchUp, and once it became clear that there were a few solutions that could work, we realized we probably wouldn’t be able to make the final call until stage day. Once we got in there, it all started to come together quickly!

The dark accent wall was the main focal point of the room, so it made sense to feature the bed on this wall. We added a cozy seating setup at the foot of the bed, and a console along the side wall to fill out this portion of the room. We filled out the rest of the space with a bench / lamp / floor mirror setup in the window nook, and a second console in the front of the room to serve as a landing zone for the “entry”. All in all, the look came together to create a modern, full bedroom design.
